From what I know at this point..they have produced a limited amount for chrysler
that will be OEM and test marketed..but in the article there is a link for feedback and if there is enough demand they may produce for aftermarket in many colors....Also at bottom of page is 800 ph# for PPG Auto Vintage Glass They can tell order availability and prices...

CH: around here we get big rock chips and replace windsheilds often, I have already had one repair on my 07#@*...so maybe I will look forward to them now..

I agree they would be cool windshields if the color could be coordinated to your car.
I figure they will be outlawed/not allowed in a lot of states because a cop cannot see into the car to shoot you or see you have a seatbelt out of place or some such. I think law enforcement will have real trouble with us covering more of our windows than we do now.
Stupid tinting laws anyway in that they vary state to state and vehicle type to vehicle type. I guess at times I'm a Federalist. Screw state's rights, let's have some uniformity from border to border on tint, and while we are at it, child seats.
