Several years ago I received a sunroof windscreen as a gift but never got around to installing it and am considering doing so this spring. I worry that the original adhesive tape that holds it on may not be good after sitting for so long in my garage boxed up. Any suggestions on additional two-sided tape or another adhesive that could be used in conjunction with what is on the windscreen itself?

1/2 inch 3M body side molding tape, works very well.

The tape that's on it now should be fine. Keep in mind that these stay on cars for many years in all kinds of weather and temperature conditions. Being in storage probably preserved the tape.
