Sway Bar Bushings - batting .500

I finally got around to the sway bar bushings this weekend to get rid of the front end clunk. The passenger side went okay once I made a little room to get the nut off. Moving on to the drivers side I realize that the bolt that is accessed from the bottom is already stripped! So that one stayed on. I may try again with a 6 point socket, but it doesn't look good.

The good news is that the passenger nearly eliminated any noise from the front end.

It's a 10mm six point socket , for those sway bar bracket bolts, squirt some penetrating oil up there then wait a day or two to give it time to work and drip off, so you're not getting dropped on your face or eyes!

Yep. I only have a 12 point. It was solid on the first one, but slipped right off the bat on the second one.

A good excuse to treat yourself to a new set of 6 point sockets.
