Thanks HHR forum!
Just finished installing the hitch on my little panel. It would have been a much longer process or I would have paid someone to do it had it not been for the how to here on the forum. After much studying of the forum pics and crawling around under her for looks at different things I got it done.
I must say that looking at the pics on here and reading the how to, you guys make it seem waaaaaay easier than it is. It was not that hard mind you, just a bit time consuming. The tip about drilling the rear hole on the passenger side was spot on.
What I did figure out, that is not listed (at least I did not see it) is that you can not have the rear on ramps when doing this. I tried it and could not make it work. So off the ramps she came.
The other thing that worried me was after I removed the exhaust hangers the exhaust would not hang too much. I had to keep pushing it down to work with the bolts and i was afraid I was going to break something up front.
