Damn bureaucrats won't leave a simple guy alone. if you give them freedom - they will set a schedule for us how and at what time people sh*t and drag the one who breaks this schedule to court.
It looks like it's all over the world.

Pirelli P4 Four Seasons Plus P205/60R16 on two HHR’s, chose this size because it’s slightly narrower and taller that stock for better snow performance. Very happy year-round. They’re a tough XL 50psi 2-ply sidewall tire and available with a V speed rating, good life and not expensive.

Im not fond of thin sidewalls, 4ply or better here as you never know when youll get into a pinch.... sliding into something doesnt take much for those 2 ply

Just an FYI. Pirelli was purchased by China.

4-ply sidewalls? If they did that your teeth would rattle and forget cornering.

My new winter tires are labeled 1 ply side wall, 4 ply thread. They are Ironman Polar Trax Gen2 directional tires.

Ironmans are meh, we buy the cheapest we can for the fleet and they're American Tire's discount brand, I wouldn't run them on my car, but if they're just for winter they're temporary anyways

I got them as a trial, are they as good as ... I report back to the tire company, kinda a test pilot deal! I have them for the whole winter, we’ll see how the are!
at least they aren’t made in China, but close! Their made in Korea. I believe Hankook.
