But F16 Pilots don’t have to deal with distracted drivers, pedestrians, loose pets and other on road objects.

 

F16 pilots are also highly trained and very skilled. Driving only requires a relative few hours of instruction and a 30 minute test.

 

From what I'm seeing on America's highways and byways, people are not paying attention during that instruction. Especially the parts about signalling and how to merge.
That or they are NOT teaching the right stuff anymore!

Every time a senior citizen is in a crash, there’s a cry for making them get tested every few years, or even to prohibit driving after a certain age.

Instead, we should re-test EVERYONE periodically.

I liked it best at the time I was looking. The others seemed to be clunky imitations.

My mother came home from the grocery and was very proud that she only ran up on a curb ONCE. That was before the elderly testing, in VA it is just a vision test for renewal and the license is shorter.
