Hitch Hitch Hitch Hitch Hitch

I have a hitch on mine... will put some photos up ASAP.
It a uHaul hitch. Because of the tire well, a hidden hitch would be difficult.

I had an error note come up, after the first attempt, saying it hadn't processed or something...
So I re-did it then noticed it was on twice. OOPS

Ya I think a 1000# sucks, especially when a Matrix-Vibe with 126hp has a capacity of 1500#:p:

Hey Craig, have you lowered your ride yet? And, if so, how does it handle towing?

I'm waiting to see the guys and gals at "Cinco en Solvang" to see how low "low" is. The hitch is pretty low now....

I want to lower my HHR, but I had a King's emblem on hitch and it has broken already going over speed bumps.
I am a little concerned the hitch will hit if I lower vehicle.

Maybe the horse power is there but the lack of towing capacity might be because of lack of a full lenght frame

that hitch looks pretty good. thanks for the pics. I agree with one post that the 100 lb driver weight doesn't have much to do with towing capacity as much as one needs to look at tongue weight distribution. The 1000 lbs rating is probably slightly under rated due to standard engineering/legal practices. The horsepower issue isn't all that is involved as suspension and braking plays into the equation. there was another thread on this subject with some interesting opinions and info. Guess I'll order me a U-Haul hitch as I planned, but wanted to see what it looked like first.

The hidden hitch shows as much as the uhaul hitch. Check the pricing on e-trailer.com
It was the cheapest I found. With my bad elbow, it took me 2 hours to install.
