I have had the car full of stuff, tools and some other things when I pulled the trailer, like I explained "I" Drive pulls good but I would not go on a 500 mile trip with all that weight. Just my preference.

The two hitches are simular in construction but the Draw-Tite fits up closer to the bumper.

Glad i found this before my trip. I am going to tow 2 motorcycles on a 4 1/2 by 8 foot trailer 350 miles. total weight is pushing a little over 1,000 lbs. it'll be a long ride but i'll let you all know how i make out. Getting a Uhaul hitch installed tomorrow. Any suggestions before i leave on saturday?

Use I gear on climbing any bigger hills. Keep it below 60 if you can. And take your time slowing down..

here's the new hitch. i thought at first they forgot the wiring harness, but i opened the rear hatch and there it was. the hitch itself isn't all that noticeable unless you squat to look at it.

looks a lot like the Hidden Hitch that mounts higher. With parts from the Draw-Tite.

The side mount plates on all three look the same, the hidden and Draw-tite tube sticks out the curb side and the U-haul stops at the plates. Yep!! The same but different!!!!

Interesting. They do look very similar. Probably similar in price? I paid $250 although $100 of that was labor charges.
