I noticed there are some resin 1:25 scale HHR bodies available on eBay that you can mount onto another model car frame (specifically, a Revell PT Cruiser... how's that for irony?)

There is also a hard to find HHR "Road Ripper" in its original packaging listed (item # 231047355214).

 

Someone on here knows the gut who makes the body. If it is the one I am thinking about..but the wanted like 25$ for it Ill see if I can find the thread on it

 

There are several resin bodies on eBay. Here's one: Item#330954569863. Costs about 20 bucks, then you have to detail it, paint it and mount it on a "donor" frame. When all is said and done, you can probably do it for about $35-40, taking into account shipping, donor car kit, paint, etc. I've got the panel version. Figuring on getting it done over the winter.

 

You can go to Flintstone Studios and order a resin body of a HHR panel or the standerd version, it does have running boards. They are $18 apiece. I have been told that the bodies are pretty good, based on them seeing some of the other bodies he makes. They said the figuers that he makes are not good as the car bodies.
