i don't have a true ss
i have a 08 panel and bought a ss parts car and put every thing on mine
so it looks just like a ss inside and outside but stock motor
what i don't known is if the hitch will clear the ss bumper
thanks

Kustom.
If the hitch will clear the SS bumper will depend on the brand of hitch. I recall many years back of a member who put one on a SS and had to trim back part of the bumper cover.
You might try a search here. There are several old archived threads about hitches.
Most of those who have done hitches did it years ago, so not much recent info is available.

It barely fits an SS rear bumper

Or cut the bumper cover

That’s fine if it’s just for a bicycle carrier rack, but not towing anything

If you put spacers to drop it, the hitch receiver is going to be that much closer to the ground........greater chance of scraping since there's not much clearance to begin with.
(didn't you put the SS suspension of yours would should have lowered it some already)
I wouldn't advise spacers.
Either notch the bumper cover or get a hitch that will mount like the red SS in Oldblue's post.
