Now, greyghost....

You're not suggesting that there is some maggot type low-lifes that would just post stupid kinds of "stuff" on forums just because they have a less than adequate life. You mean just because they have nothing in their life worth any value, they would post a thread just to cause discussion and cause aggrevation over a vehicle (in this case) the are jealous off or can't afford.

Naw, I don't think so......

Been there and done that !!!!

While trying to find info on a shifter for the auto, I found a site that talked about this transmission being prone to fluid leaks. It appears this design has been in use for a few years and is a german design. So I'm thinking Snoopy is probably right, there is likely a TSB on this issue.

That TSB is a general one for specific transmissions and does not include our trans. The HHR uses the 4T45 trans. I am a new owner and also parts manager at a Chevy dealership.

My mistake. Thanks for that.

Welcome to the forum and "stick around". You probably can correct a lot of stuff on here.

All right, GreyGhost. Yeah, I'm new to this forum and yeah I posted a problem only to see if any other HHR lover had trany issues. I'm not one of those wanna bees. I thought since you guys site on this site that there was some real knowledge to be found by submitting a problem and getting a bonified helpful response. I guess you really don't have anything better to do than sit around and b*%** about other people and their really issues.

True problem exists. Nothing I did or the way I drive my car. Just a bad trany. New one being installed tomorrow. No thanks for your help. Skeptic!!!

Regardless of the reasons or the join date for lcbarrett becoming a member, lcbarrett turned to us for answers to their question(s).

I hope others will chime in to offer their input that have experienced the same troubles you are having lcbarrett. I personally have not had any issues with my HHR.

to the forum lcbarrett!

Welcome as well. I have had my HHR since April 06, The only problems that I have has been the radio. No transmission.
At least it is still under warranty.
Good luck.
