What is the deal........ When I had my 05 GTO you couldn't pass a fellow GTO owner without slowing down and getting a thumbs up or a hearty wave and forget about not talking if you pulled up next to one at a red light.

With the HHR I get nothing. I can't get a wave or anything.

 

I've noticed most of the non-wavers in my area are the 60+ crowd, no offence to the members of that age group here! Just an observation.

 

Hell It's bad enough to be expected to "wave" to everyone on a bike when Im on my bike. I don't want to have to do it in my car as well.....

I don't do the first wave, but I have had a couple of HHR owners wave at me, the ones I distinctly remember were those who got the car for a company vehicle. I do look at the other HHRs, though, just to watch them drive. I don't get to watch myself drive so..

 

Follow a semi with the stainless steel rear trailer doors (that blind you at night) maybe you could see your reflection?

 

It's so crazy, it just might work...

 

Lately I have had good luck with them waving. I even got one to pull over in Nooga! On the way back every one that I pulled up next to (while passing them) I honked, and honked till they looked and waved

I'll give a thumbs up if I see you on the road and I'm in the 60+crowd but still feel like a kid, guess that makes the difference.
