MY 2006 2LT WITH AUTO, gas mileage around tpwn for the last year 15.6 mpg the same on the hwy., so had the ECM updates today 21 updates $92.00 at my chevy dealwe, gas mileage increased to 30mpg around town, on the highway at 70 mph mileage was 34mpg wish I had done it a long time ago well worth the cost.

 

That's quite an improvement.... notice any performance difference?

 

if I really punch it the traction light comes on and the transmission would shift hard now I can punch and it really hauls and no hard shifting. beat thing i should have done it a long time ago, highly recommend it.

The computer age , Gotta love it. Does anybody know if there are 2.0 updates for an 08 SS ?

 

Is there an easy way to find out if my 06 has been updated? Or do I need to take it to a dealer? TIA
