Upset with Spiderlites
Upset with Spiderlites
I felt with all that I was doing to my HHR to get it ready for vacation that I would put a set of Spiderlites in the tail lights. I placed the order with them on the 14th. Their site says shipment is 10 days, which would have gotten them to me in time. I got a shipment notification on the 19th and found out they weren't delivered to FedEx till the 22nd! There is a week wasted already! Now FedEx has them and they arrived at a warehouse in GROVE CITY, OH the morning of the 24th and haven't left yet......
I called FedEx and they say it isn't due to be delivered till June 3rd so they are in the warehouse waiting (????)
I understand that they had to go through Customs, but the tracking shows that took almost exactly 1 hour. I just don't understand.
On top of that, I've called Spiderlite several times, and emailed them with no response. The least they could do is return an email.
I've been building custom cars for years and have had very good response from many vendors, and have ordered .50 items up to thousands of dollar pieces with excellent service and prompt delivery. To contact a vendor to try to come up with a solution and not get any further communication is puzzling me. The part will arrive when I'm gone and since a signature is required, it will probably be shipped back.
I've gotten Weber carbs mailed to me from Italy and had them in 1 1/2 weeks, I don't understand why it takes 3 weeks to get a light bulb.
Thanks for letting me vent
