Vertical Doors

Does anyone have experience with these...most of these kits going for between $1000.00 and $1300.00...wondering if buying these is just buying problems..??

I can tell you they really are not vertical, I looked at putting them on one of my vettes and you still have to open the door horizontally and then they swing up....more trouble then they are worth.

They look neat when opened, but I never understood the logic for installing these in an everyday driver.

My experience is that most people think they look ridiculous. I am one of those. The one time in my life I drove an actual Lamborghini, I didn't like the door at all. Very awkward to use.

Thanks for the input...I personally like the looks of them, but if they open like Nabko says, I guess I'll wait. I'm not going to spend over a grand just for the hardware...If I could have gotten it for 300 I'd have done it but I figured there must be a catch...
