Does anyone have experience with these...most of these kits going for between $1000.00 and $1300.00...wondering if buying these is just buying problems..??

They look neat when opened, but I never understood the logic for installing these in an everyday driver.

 

My experience is that most people think they look ridiculous. I am one of those. The one time in my life I drove an actual Lamborghini, I didn't like the door at all. Very awkward to use.

 

Even the girl in the pic in front of the red Camaro doesn't look so great. LOL

Thanks for the input...I personally like the looks of them, but if they open like Nabko says, I guess I'll wait. I'm not going to spend over a grand just for the hardware...If I could have gotten it for 300 I'd have done it but I figured there must be a catch...

 

The way the rear doors work is interesting.

 

But. According to the ad, they do fit the mysterious 2005 model HHR.

 

Maybe Tesla bought those rear hinges up?
