Waterbased Paint Code

I am having a problem finding the paint code for my 08 HHR. Here is a photo of the RPO sticker in the glovebox. Can someone tell me what the paint code is? I know its a Red (I am color blind so it makes shades difficult to detect). Thanks.

Here are the possible reds the third column is the mfg color code, the WAxxxx is the GM code. They don't make it easy.

I think the last code that is partly scratched out could be 79U. I have confirmed that it is NOT Victory Red.

I see 19B for the paint code, which according to this is Cashmere? Any chance the glovebox door has been changed, does the serial number match?

I thought 19B is the code for water based or clear coat.

According the chevymgr in post #38 https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/gene...nd-8427/page4/

Everbody that says it is the number after WATER BASED is wrong. It is the code near the end of the string with a "U" (for upper,2-tone will also have an "L") on the end. Then take that number to the chart above to get the WA number. The only problem is the years on the chart seem confusing.

This may have changed sometime in 2006-2007. But, all GM paint has been water based since 1981 (the era of peeling paint).

FYI: the "WATER BASED" is a statement for C.A.R.B.
