I assume this is some sort of relay. Does anyone know what it is for? It is located on the drivers front fender.

Well, you got me. Not sure what it's for.
I did pop the cover off. Seems to be a relay for something. Even has a schematic on the side plus some part numbers that maybe you could search for.
Also has "EBC" on the cover plate. ( Electronic Brake Control ? ) Relay for the anti-locks ?

Dang ! Now I'm curious. Hope someone can find out what it is.

 

If its a panel its the door popper relay.

 

I don't have one of those, on my 2007 2.2 l LS window wagon, sans ABS, sans T/C so either one of those could explain what that relay is for!

Mine has one and it's not a panel.

 

So, ah, there's one on FMG's SS, could it be a brake control relay?
Anybody with an LT can confirm they have one of these?

 

I must remember wrong.

It has been discussed before, pretty sure has nothing to do with brakes EBC is the brand.
