What is the best 'wash & wax" for the HHR?

I have the ICE liquid form and that seemed nice...I bought some of the paste last night and don't like it as much...I won't use it again. Wasn't as easy to put on as the liquid form and seemed harder to "cover". Felt like I was really having to work to apply it.
Zymol is another great wax/cleaner wax. I always keep going back to that. Hides swirls and light scratches VERY well and smells great to boot!

I don't care for the combo "wash & wax". You should do both. But not together. I remember when Durashine came out a few years ago, now try to find a bottle......
Use a good wash, and a quality silicone wax and you won't have to worry about the wax on plastic. SOme steps should not be skipped to save time....

I agree with Solman, best to do both separately. I use Armor All Car Wash Concentrate, followed by Meguiars NXT synthetic wax. Works great and gives your car a very deep shine. Not hard to apply or remove either.

When I first opened it, I thought I got a bad one as the paste was hard as a rock. It takes a bit of work to activate the paste, but once it gets going it's OK. Took me about 2 hours to wax the HHR but I ran out of steam and didn't wax the roof. I will do that next weekend.

Make sure you rinse it well. Contrary to what the packaging says, it does leave a bit of white residue behind after it's rinsed.
