By the way. I live in a town of nearly 200k people and have yet to see a blue HHR. As far as that goes though, I don't see that many HHR's.

I doubt you do! I can see badging the car wrong but not building a better model and selling it as a lesser model. I don't think I have ever heard of that in my life. There are ways to tell other than decoding the VIN. The main way I tell is by the wheels. They are so different for every model. Let me guess you have steel wheels? Plus not all LTs have the 2.4. All 2LTs have the 2.4 but it's an option on 1LTs so 1LTs can have either.
