front rotors & pads
Just replaced the front rotors and pads....44000 kms....man those rotors didn't want to come off 
...after wd40ing every possible spot especially the back side...then they came free...install 10 mins/side....and all is well

I started to install my wireless rear view camera today. It fits right in the opening for the rear wiper so all you see is the camera head. I removed the wiper a while back. I use the mirrors not the back window. Now with the camera it will be sweeter, especially with a Panel.
But the wiring directions sucked. The Chinese English tied me up and can't make heads or tails out of it. Any advise/help? Thanks.

Did the first time wash and wax on my newly acquired 2011 LT yesterday. Of course, it's been raining like a bastard all day, with severe thunderstorm warnings in effect. I had to do some creative maneuvering to get it in the garage (along with my wife's Saturn Aura XR and the Goldwing) just in case it hails. Grrr....

Back in the Saddle................The 2008 LT was a great ride while it lasted, but it's being handed down to my daughter today. She's graduating HS and going off to college soon, and I want her to have a safe, reliable vehicle with good mileage. That being said, the 2008 LT is getting washed and re-christened today.
So what's a dad to do? My Chevy dealer had a few HHR's in stock, two beater fleets and an SS. The beater fleets were not an option so...dad test drove the SS, and dad signed for the SS, and dad's got a brand new (well, new to me - 2010) red SS. Booya! It's the dark red, not Victory Red. More of a Burgundy. Nice dark interior. I'm a happy camper.
Now I have to figure out what all the new stuff does and how it works...
