Right side turn signal blinking fast. Checked signal lights and right rear turn signal light out. Pulled bulb and found out it was a 3057 and truck stop only had 3157. Trusty google says they are a match so I bought a 2pak and changed out bulb. No more fast blinking turn signal.

That's a spiffy dash cover there Oldblue.

The Remembrance Day Poppy is a nice touch, this being the second year of the WWI centenary observations, we can't forget the valient and selfless bravery demonstrated by Canadian soldiers.

An update on my 2011 2LT, after crunching numbers, and some serious thought. We made a "Family Decision" to keep the Herd intact and look for a decommissioned Police Package Chevrolet at auction time.

I've had two previous 9C1 Police Package Chevies, a Malibu and a Caprice, both were tanks and the interiors are not only prisoner proof...but they'll take anything a rambunctious little boy can throw at them.

The poppy is to remember all those who fought to end WW II 70 years ago which included my father Harvey Earnest Townley he joined the Royal Canadian Navy in 1939 and served on HMCS Haida in the North Atlantic a Canadian mine sweeper. He was ships radio operator
Today we enjoyed his favorite summer lunch a good burger and a cold beer! In his honour.
Unfortunately he passed away back in 1970 May 23rd.

This was yesterday, drove to Concord NC to get at Lionel. Then Had some good BBQ at a place called RR BBQ, all sorts of train signs around. Then I drove to Spencer to see the N&W class J with new paint and under steam. quite a site then back home. A log day but fun.
