Dust off around here, is good for about 30 minutes. Course, right in the middle of the pine tree capital of the world.

My property is next to a 154 acre pine tree farm. I won't leave my SS outside this time of year. Now the old Dodge truck, it's white and will wear a flat yellow finish for the next month or so.

Went to a socal gTg meeting up with ten other HHRs. Had a great time, great folks, great food, fun for all. Checkout the fb page "SocalHHRs" to see some pictures.

I don't think they are all members here, why? I don't know that either. I will be sure to bring that up at our next meet.

Did the CRC intake valve cleaner thing. Have 32K and used 2 cans of it. Rough when you have to do it by your self. Made a tube to hook up right after the Mas Air Flow sensor at the boot. Held the hose high and stood up with my foot on the throttle. Ran it about 3K. Changed the oil after that.
Will say the car does feel more responsive. No smoke out the back like other people say using Sea Foam.

Wow, cleaning the throttle body of a auto SS, still can't believe I got it done, impossibly tight in there. So I got a new one instead of cleaning. Saved a bunch of dollars doing it myself, so I bought some new shoes...re11's....should be fun on the twisties.

That job rates a 9/10 pita with 10 being impossible, tried to tell myself that, 3 or 4 times as I was trying to accomplish it.........

Just returned home from spring visit to S.C. We took the 08 Black panel, returned slightly yellow pollen tint. Looked for silver HHR's in Charlotte with chevyhhr.net stickers on it, but didn't see any. Saw very few HHR's on the interstate. Got 28 mpg average on premium fuel...john
