Smile Fixed it!

Hello from a new member. I just want to heartily thank all who are responsible for creating/maintaining this forum. Because of the detailed explanations and photos, I was able to replace the solenoids on my 2007, thus eradicating the TC light! I am SO grateful! I would have liked to personally thank the person where I found my "fix", but alas, the thread was closed. So a huge thank you here to WHOPPER! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This is why we’re here, to help people like you, save a few bucks and feel the satisfaction of fixing it your self!
I’m sure Whopper will chime in.
We close certain threads to keep it to a simple how to, the praise and thank yous are a nice by product

Today a run over the ditch, picked up a new grille, a new bowtie and a new set of tail lights.
Kinda strange just popping over to a local business, then drive 2 1/2 hours to Erie.
I will post pictures in a day or two of these birthday presents for Oldblue, we’ve enjoyed our LS , since Dec 16,2009 at just 34,000 miles.

Cool, when I did my windshield I ordered one that had the built in tinting on top.
I just enjoyed driving mine today. Cold day & was nice & toasty in my ride.

Good for you, how are you liking the rear door poppers from the key fob, & /or the dash buttons ?

actually it took me a minute or two to figure out how the back doors even worked. Both my fobs need batteries so for now the dash buttons will have to do. I did notice one door does not pop and needs a little nudge so i'm gonna hafta do some cleaning and oiling. Wonder what the thought process was that had them leaving the outside handles off, i like the looks without them but it seems kinda odd they were deleted from the panel design. Maybe it was because there were rear passanger provisions. i really am digging it though, glad i found a panel in the color i wanted. just lucked into it really

There is also 1 button on the pass side of the dash if you haven't noticed yet. Be glad you got an '08, cause '07 Panels were 1st year for Panels, & no key-fob poppers. I did notice one door does not pop and needs a little nudge so i'm gonna hafta do some cleaning and oiling. Wipe off the door seals as well. That can help.. Because it was designed as a 2 people up front ride. Maybe it was because there were rear passanger provisions. i really am digging it though, Cool, I am still digging mine after about 9.5 years of owning it. . glad i found a panel in the color i wanted. just lucked into it really There ya go, Enjoy !!
