Today the sun is shining, the roads are drying up, so, we ride! Where? Don’t know.
Just heading out for a cruise. But not a Cruise Night , to many rain outs on a Friday night here.

Today, I’m going to detail and polish, Sweetie’s friends 2002 Audi TT convertible.

It’s been sitting for awhile, every month, she starts it and drives it around the block , then parks it again.
It’s been covered all it’s life.
Sweetie will take her to lunch, while the guy has a look at it, he might buy it , he has been looking for one .
she claims he is flying into Toronto, then coming here to inspect the Audi.

Well that was easy, I removed the car cover and this thing is spotless!!
I started with detail spray , then spray wax .
A quick vacuuming and window cleaning, done.
I suggested she not set the price, let him look at it, sit in it, smell it.
He offered $21,000, she asked if she could talk to me , I said tell him $25,000.
He came back with some trouble under the car, I jacked up and set the car on axle stands.
We looked under and found nothing out of place, not even any dirt!
she said to the buyer, I’m firm at 25,000, as it sits, it was safety checked last September and emissions tested at the same time.
at 17,000 miles.
She pointed out and handed him a work order for the timing belt replaced in August .
He reached in his wallet and his wife’s purse, they counted out $25,000.
he had arranged for a flatbed tow truck to pick it, the TT is gone.
That was a fun afternoon.

Reinstalled my passenger fog light after it was popped out when I hit a rabbit, all is back to normal, not so the rabbit.
While I was at it installed LED headlights, awesome, work great.
Thanx Oldblue
