When you get through with the Tail of the Dragon, you need to go up to near Marion, Va. then run the Back of the Dragon. It is 32 miles on Rt 16 that starts at Hungry Mother State park and ends in Tazewell with over 400 turns. If you want to read an article about it look up The Roanoke Times and search Back of the Dragon. I was in the group of BMW Zs mentioned in the article. The Tail is on my list.

We were up there last week in our G6.
I’ve been to the tail of the dragon multiple times. Haven ‘t been in a couple years though.

It was another "those aren't going to fit in your car" moment... Went to the music store today and got two 4X10 bass speaker cabinets. Guy said "bring your truck right up front and I'll help you load them"

Look on his face was priceless.

Unfortunately too many nuts on two wheels up there think it’s a racetrack... I have almost had a couple collisions head on with them coming around curves on the wrong side of the road...

Went back to friends place, purchased that next door neighbours 2011 HHR LT .
Black with 17 inch chrome over aluminum rims , clean as a whistle except a mark here and there , looks like bicycle handle bar scuffs, not thru the clear coat .
I’ll clean and preen in the weekend, ok, maybe sooner.

John thanks , but it’s not Sunburst Orange , the new black! Lol.
It’s Henry Fords black, any colour you want, so long as it’s black!
