A trip for doctors appointment in St. Catharines, 3-5 inches of snow , blowing white outs across the main highway from Welland to St. Catharines, ice and slush , the traction control worked as it should, the ABS worked as it should, all in all a nice car to drive in winter weather.
Now I just need better winter wipers, the OEM freeze at their pivot points and don’t wipe the full length of the blade.

I put some Bosch Icon wipers on the SS. The Bosch wipers are a little pricey, but O'Reilly had them on sale.
They sure beat the cheap-o's that I usually get

I will have to look at those. I tried some medium priced silicone wipers and they are not very good. They don't hug the window tight enough

The local Chevy dealer negotiates on the price of OEM wipers. I’ve bought them at reasonable prices, they work, last, and look right.

You know as well as me, if the defroster vent on the dash pointed more towards the base of the windshield the wipers would be a lot warmer.
Also if the air reached the outside of the glass there wouldn't be that cold zone.

I also know if I had garage space , I would not need to scrape the windows or windshield.

Today was a day to dust off the ice and snow from last evenings 2 or 3 inches, then off to the mall, why me in a Sunday?
cause Sweetie wanted to get something or other for the kiddos, I thought we were done back in September or October!?
