We're getting the southern part of the cold snap. 74 degrees yesterday at 3 pm. It's 40 degrees, cloudy and 30 mph winds this morning. Thank goodness there's no snow coming.
The SS, my dog and the cat are all snuggled up in their respective beds.

My SS is outside getting wet.
No garage and a daily driver.

Couple of hours ago was rear-ended driving down the street in Staunton, VA. Hit hard enough at about 40 mph to knock the hat off my head. Hit & run, escaped through traffic so I couldn't get the license plate number. Minor damage to the rear bumper cover, scuffed & pushed in slightly. Reported to police (and insurance) in case any medical issues come up but haven't filed a claim yet. Only tagged the bumper so hatch functions correctly. Sucks...

Andy , check the exhaust and the rear inside by the battery area, someone else got rear ended and the was considerably more damage then first thought, get your doctor to check you out, a stiff neck and back can be painful.

Today another 4 inches of snow fell overnight, my trusty snow shovel with a wooden handle broke, so off to the big box store, saved $25 and bought 2 new shovels, one with the ergonomic curved aluminium handle for lifting the snow the other a 30 inch wide pusher blade.
My 41 year old MTD snow thrower started second pull in the starter cord, the first pull , I forgot to turn the ignition key to on!

the drive to Niagara Falls to the store was great , no traffic, the roads were cleared by then, 2 pm .

I had one of these.... Worst contraption I've ever seen. Tossed it somewhere along the line... had no purpose.

Had a hint of the stuff yesterday afternoon.
Last year it only snowed twice which is rare for Long Island.
