I placed some parts out for Panel86 to pickup, no contact , and he stopped by and picked them up. I stayed indoors to ensure his and my safety!

I’m digging those WV rally rims and baby moons! And the WWW’s look awesome!

He picked up the parts, put the box in the back and then drove off. Safe and sound, That panel needs lowered though, I’m sure he will think of something!

Are you saying all I have to do is take the ferry from Port Jeff ?
Could take 95 and drive around to Middle Town also.
Keep forgetting I live on an island.

Well then,it's still across some water from you....He said that Wayne Carini's shop did the restoration on it ! I guess that's across the water from Middletown. Nice country, BTW. Wish I could have spent more time there...John

I'm saved up a lot of empty 55 gallon drums.
Why ?
Because I know Long Island will sink and I can make a flotation device around it, so I won't drown.

Hopeless Tails

Yeah they were that bad. I think this was car wash chemical damage as much as anything. The paint in the area is perfect. I know, sun, but another HHR I have went to a new detailer (wife's doing) with perfect tail lights and came back with horrible horizontal scrapes like steel brush work, zero damage to paint. I inquired and it did go through a rotary spinning-rag wash.

Anyhoo I had nothing to loose so i wet sanded these 320 in spot, 400 600 1500 (all I had.) Anywhere that went through the original finish to the bare plastic crazed from the clear coat can I had lying around, but it was still a big improvement. Assuming they're polycarbonate which is very sensitive to chemical damage. Maybe next time I'll try something waterborne.

Anyone know a good UV resistant crystal clear coating in a spray can that won't hurt polycarbonate?

They still suck, just a lot less.

Changed my spark plugs. The top of the engine was filthy with sand and debris. Had to scrub with brushes. Only had the HHR for 2 weeks but thought I should change the plugs to be safe. New ones are NGK but these were the plugs I found
