Hopefully I'll be able to join you guys for a G2G soon!

Dang border closure!

I heard it might be November when it opens up.

First time doing drum brakes

did my drum brakes Saturday. I feel the HHR has the ideal first time drum brake assembly. Hard work but a money savor. 60 dollars Canadian for shoes and springs

That will be awesome, fastsuv! And then I’ll go to the correct town, yesterday it was Smithville, not Grimsby, the_shmoo waited for me, we had a laugh over that error, and discussed up coming projects for his and his wife’s HHR’s and he loaned me a front hood protective cover, just to see, if I should start looking for a Colgan bra like this one

This is the hood protector he loaned to me, I’m looking for a used Colgan bra, I found some in the inactive classified ads, maybe someone still has one for sale!

Blue- do you like that Bra ? I heard they rub on the paint in spots from the wind at speed.

Greybeard- I changed my oil & filter today, as well as a full service II. Including a rear brake adjustment check, & airing up the tires, including the spare, because of colder weather.
So I can take my used oil jug to Advance Auto & dump it for recycling on way to Saturday Car show.. Yea !!!

I’m on the fence, I will most likely just use the protective cover for long haul drives, like spring trip to Florida or Fall run to Cape Cod. And sadly that ain’t happening this year, so we’ll have to see, I sent some PM’s yesterday, maybe those members will respond. I’m not holding any hope.

Today just a vacuum, tire pressure check and check the lug nut torque, top up the fluids under the hood , then a drive with Sweetie maybe stop for a coffee or a burger that depends on what she wants for lunch.

I've seen a HHR Bra that was thick & clear & it actually fit snugly to the front end. I forget what it was called.

Nothing happened with my Panel today. But the rains have been steady since last night.. So it's sleeping quietly..

...and what an awesome new deck that is! I am sure it’s much nicer and more private now, and you can BBQ to your heart’s content.
Do you do any hunting/fishing? I go out on my cousin’s boat and do some Ahi and Marlin fishing a few times a year. Nothing like smoking a fresh catch Marlin!
