The strangest thing happened today.
Unlocked my car with the fob and opened the passenger side front door.
While placing my bags on the floor I bumped the car with my head.
The alarm went off.
I didn't think I hit it that hard.

Those don't even look like decent 2X4's... They look like rejects. (no offence)

I've been at the "box store" (Home Despot, Lower's) to get lumber and had to reject 80% of the pile just to find 4 good pieces... I asked a manager one day if they had any 2X4's that weren't pre bent boat braces. He didn't know what I was talking about.

Have fun with your project... Measure twice, cut once.

For me today is a quick stop at the grocery store to buy corned beef and cabbage. I'm a wee bit Irish and need my fix.

Then it's homeward bound to the hot tub. The pendulum swung and my back is killing me.

Your right, these studs aren’t very straight, kinda thinking I should have gone with metal studs, at least they stay straight!

we considered a hot tub or whirlpool tub, but we didn’t want to spend that kinda cash.

Lumber prices are getting crazier every day!

At our Lowes, the OSB sheathing (7/16" x 4' x 8") is $37!!!

Last time I bought OSB a couple of years ago it was $9.99 a sheet.

The top 2x4s are about $7.50 each.

I don't know how anyone can build a home right now.

Steve- & the prices are gonna get more & more expensive. (Thanks slo-joe.) I filled my mowers gas cans today. Almost $3. per gallon of 100%, 93 octane.
