Today we have mid teens temperatures, cloudy some very light snow , my day will be spent inside, warm and toasty! No real reason to venture out .

Our niece, received her Covid test results, positive. Her work , allowed a worker to stay working even after they tested positive. And on Thursday that worker reported in sick, so our niece and all other workers were tested, 80% of them tested positive! So much for protocol!
Steve

First How is your wife doing ? Hope very good !

Right now just H13.
Plus I forgot about the ones posted lol
I may try the LED H 13 if I change the Head Lights . If I can not polish then clear !

Then I will have time to adjust them w/o freezing my butt ff lol

Then I can pass these on to my son's HHR !

I love my Truck but that little HHR is fun to drive lol

Radiator Flush in the spring will be done as well !

Only 91000 k on the clock and in good shape. \I will also get it Krown sprayed spring time as well !

Along with the speakers lol
Have the brackets , just waiting for better weather and if needed take advantage of Crutchfields 60 day return policy!

Very happy to read, your son is doing well and is back home! Rich!

Today, we are once again, resting and waiting for Sweetie’s blood count to improve, so far it’s the same as last Monday. But the drive to and from the hospital was very nice! We saw some deer and a rabbit along the roadside , one of the farmers puts out feed for them.
Still since last summer, when I installed those Delphi ball joints and long Swaybar end links, very quiet, no clunking.

Once again, another issue arises,
After installing new painted calipers in the rear, my parking brake handle refuses to lift more than 2 clicks.
It worked fine with the drums barkes.
The parking brake hasn't worked since I did the disc conversion in 2019.
I even removed the cables from the calipers and still no movement with the handle.
When manually applying the parking brake at the calipers, they work.
This points to the handle mechanism.
Is the handle different in SS models?
The cables move by hand, but it takes some pushing and pulling, just not with the brake handle.
So I'm installing new cables and trouble shooting the whole system.
Got them yesterday.
Thanks Rockauto.

The cable from the e brake handle to the equalizer bar is different and as is the equalizer bar.
but if it worked with your other calipers, are the new calipers ratcheted out correctly to the pads?

The parking brake has not been functional since I did the disc conversion.
How different can the cable and equalizer bar be?
Thanks for the info and I will look into that.

Google HHR SS manual brake lever and HHR manual brake lever, that little cable comes with the lever.

Between a medical appointment 70 miles away, and several other errands, I'll log well over 150 miles on my HHR today. I wish the new stereo head unit and powered sub were installed, but alas, it's been too cold to finish the job, as I don't have a garage.
At least the new front and rear door speakers are installed.
And the heater seems to work well.
