Loaded the back with 78s. Yes. Records. 10" & 12"
They don't fit in a CD player.
For my rockin' 1915 Victorola not or even

From Fritz Kreisler to Beethoven to Gilbert & Sullivan
I'll keep the stuff I like and put the rest on CL.

The lady that runs the store estimated over 1000 lbs. For $20
Then I drove it the 30 miles of back roads home.
No problemo

I'm going to weigh the tonnage while I unload it. (childish thread fodder?)

EDIT - A 474 lb. load, that's gotta be a record (pun not intended but I'l take it)

4.2¢ a lb. yo!

At 73+K miles a cooling system flush and an oil change (M1 high milage version) Some 10,000+ miles on the oil with DIC reading 33%. The last oil change was in April, 2010. Also changed the cabin air filter as it was last done around 35K miles.

The HHR was washed and lightly waxed then used the shop vac to suck up the accumulated sand, dirt and crud on the carpets.

Matched the front Bowtie......

to the back bowtie I did the other day......

All the same color, it's a color changing pearl purple over a purple base.... Just adding the pearl to the bowties.

The lower grill , sway bar and other bits will be the base purple..... Did this last week. Going to re-paint the brakes this lighter purple as well......

Simply removed the chrome "door edge guards" off of my in channel vent visors. They looked nice but they gave the illusion when you were in the car looking out you couldn't see through the visors. Took them off and when I talk through the window now I can "see" straight out and not have to duck my head.

Installed the GM Molded Splash Guards and Carriage Works Lower Grille that I had taken off of our 2006 HHR.

Just have to paint and install the Progress Anti-sway bar and I'll be done for this year.
