Found out the sb end links i ordered are 2" too long. Looks like I have the Fe5 suspension. Picking up the correct ones tomorrow.

Your 2008 2LT would have the FE 3 suspension, not FE5 , that was only available on the SS model.
those 12 inch end links will fit , I’ve got a set in my 2011 2LT, the problem happens when you only change one side and end up with one 9.8” and one 12” . So change both.

Today a rinse and blow dry then detailed with Maguires Quick detailer.

9.8 was what was in it. Figured the long ones were wrong. The few sites i went to looking for the 9.8 all said fe5 only.
What would the handling differences be between the two different sizes? Would the loading on the swaybar be alteted between the two? In other words, is one better for hsndling vs the other? Amazon told me to keep the long ones and credited my account for the cost.

Well, I hope so! I put brand new Michelin tires on it Thursday, the old Hankooks were looking pretty rough after sitting down at the shop for a year. Unfortunately that didn't clear up the noise I was hearing, so I'm off to Napa to pick up an SKF wheel hub today (only one available in town, the other one is coming later this week from Stockton, Ca). So that and maybe the back up camera are this weekend's projects.

Pass side wheel hub and axle replaced. Strut and a arm tomorrow. I sure miss having a lift.
