Today, winter tires and rims were installed, had an issue with 1 TPMS sensor, I changed that , all 4 sensors are working and relearned to the car.
The rims I removed the chrome plastic covers from back in September. The colour looks good to me.

I would love to see more pics of those wheels... I have those same "chrome" 17s... I knew it was fake chrome plating, but I didn't realize it was a whole cap that came off until you posted those pictures awhile back
how hard was it to clean off all the residue/adhesive?

Not that hard , just patience. The adhesive peels off pretty easily. A pressure washer would speed things up.

Today a drive to Hamilton for appointment with surgery team to determine procedure to remove scar tissue of the tumor. They will make arrangements for the surgery sometime in December.

Those wheels came out fantastic. I don’t remember seeing how you finished them. What did you use exactly?

I did them in September, I placed the plastic clad rims out in the sun for 2 days, then pried the plastic off with prybars. Then plastic brush on my die grinder to remove adhesive and debris. I primered with self etching primer, then 2 coats of DupliColour Gun Metal wheel paint and 2 coats of Duplicolour clear coat .

wow, Blue!
And some claim that Canada's climate is similar to Russia's!
Not at all. View from my office window.

And we're still in the middle of a thaw!

road trip last night to attend my grandson's first band concert/chorus concert. He plays Trumpet in 5th grade band, been playing for 2 months... it wasn't too good but they got thru it!!He was pretty happy afterwards and I always love to see him! the drive gave me a good view of a barn on fire, and no deer!
