I took my HHR out for it's first detail job today (I detail on the weekends) she's still all loaded up for a job I have tomorrow. I have to admit, I'm blown away by how much stuff these little cars will hold. Can't wait for next weekend where I can finally detail my own!

Sometime in the Spring we're going to have a "How Much Stuff Have You Stuffed Into Your HHR" contest, these Trucklets can swallow amazing amounts of cargo.

Personally, I've managed to carry 535 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies in my '07, and there was room for a bit more.

Our former neighbors had a daughter in the Scouts who could sell the proverbial "Screen door to a Submarine Captain", those cookies were the overflow that her parents couldn't cram into their Altima.

Now that they've moved back to Wisconsin, we're going to be getting our "cookie fix" courtesy of one of my copilot's daughters. She'll have a good sales year, all of my fellow pilots and the line crew are cookie fiends.

I know I hinted at it courtesy of your e-mail Oldblue, but that's fantastic news my friend, congrats at getting back behind the wheel!!

Now get that HHR out on the road for a proper drive, and enjoy every second of it Steve, you've more than earned it.

Had some 2.25" exhaust pipe laying around the shop so I fired up the tubing bender today and made a new cat back system. It turned out not to bad. The car runs a little better than when it had the stock 1.75" exhaust on it. Think it is still too small, need to get some 3" pipe for my next try.

I layed down another color on the panel, DipYourCar's Midnight Zombie Flip. It gives a subtle green to black color change. I'm very pleased with how it turned out, pictures just don't do it justice.

Lookin' mighty fine!!

I've always thought a really dark green would look sharp on an HHR lunchbox, and it sure does!

Very cool Lunchbox!

We went for a drive yesterday, and now I know why I've been on the DL since July, my right shoulder and chest area are a weak mess of muscles ouchies, but then I haven't really used those in awhile, so baby steps and just a half hour to an hour a day till I strengthen up!
