The '06 has the holes but no threaded insert.
Those have to be installed by you.
That's what I had to do to my '06.
And personally, the running boards were a mistake, as they became shin busters.
Frosty this morning! So, no wash and detail today! Sweetie has to go out for supplies today! She’ll have a visit at her sisters house. I’m hanging around the house

Bummer, sorry to see this, No one inside hurt ? UR gonna fix it right.. Wheels are hot.
Driving to work last week on highway and a damn turkey buzzard took off on the shoulder, as I was passing a semi. I saw it and thought 'there goes my windshield', I guess luckily it just took out my drivers side mirror, f****** bird definitely didn't look both ways!!! My damn most used mirror, atleast it felt like it the last week driving without it. Thankfully Rock Auto and $40 bucks and I'm back in business!! Almost can't wait to drive to work!!
Instead of the threaded inserts is it possible to just use nuts? Where are the mounting holes, on either end? The middle just has those clips and holes that you can't gain access behind.
No one hurt but my pride. I've been driving for 23 years (18 in this alone) and never been in a crash of any sort with exception to a tiny one where someone bumped into me at a stop light last year. Thanks On the wheels, to bad 3 of them were pretty damaged after the accident
