Got the pretty Summer wheels off the LS and put away until no more chance of road salt in the spring.

Pretty day so I’ll prolly take the SS for a run.

The new TPMS sensors arrived! They will be installed over the next couple of days. We’re off to a physiotherapy appointment for Sweetie, then lunch and then exercise class. I’m planning on taking an hour and installing 2 this afternoon.

Readying for a trip to Oregon I put the chains in the back of the van stored for the summer on top of a set of HHR steel wheels with older sneakers mounted.
Headed to fuel up for errands and parked next pump over was a sunrise orange hhr similar to my 2008.
Quickly put two and two together and knew from condition of his tires he needed what I had.
Made the offer do you want...? He says how much? not connecting that it was a freebie.
Anyway, he accepted with joy and I was thankful to get the corner of the garage back.
And I now know that seat up you can fit four mounted 16" wheels in the back of and HHR.
Have a good week.
Ps on bring a trailer auction a 2006 SEMA displayed HHR custom availible. Interesting.
I'll try to post a pic on the other 4x4 offering this year

Today we have medical appointments to follow up our progress with our doctors, so we’re headed out for a morning cruise to see those doctors and then stop for lunch and continue on for more of a cruise and stop for a coffee, somewhere! The winter tires are still holding up their air pressure and the sensors are working perfectly.
I noticed the tread on the summer tires is getting really worn down, so will have to see where the best deal is for new ones.

Took 'SISU' in for her quarterly (5k mile) tire rotation.
All appeared well with normal wear.
Then, out for breakfaast.
Winter, here I come.

My neighbour brought me a skid to mount my tire machine to , that can wait till warmer spring weather. Today we drive through the countryside with no particular place to go!
A nice sturdy hardwood pallet! Perfect for the Amazon tire machine!

Today a shortened drive along the Niagara River from Chippewa to Fort Erie, the freezing rain and sleet got pretty nasty, so we decided that home with a hot chocolate was a much better place to be!
