Thanks, I am sure I will get lots of enjoyment out of it.

Amazon actually has some pretty Good deals, I saved Alot buying from them, they send you Deal alerts from whats sitting in your cart and that has saved me alot, the P4200 I saved about $200.00 on it.
And Amazon is an Authorized Pioneer Dealer, so Pioneer will stand by their Warranty, they Won't if you bought from a Non Authorized Dealer.

I'm not into any type of Stereo Competition like some guys are, I just like a decent quality sounding system that I can enjoy, soft or Loud. Not trying to rattle the houses windows as I drive by.

But when I am listening to it loud, I like it to still sound Good at higher sound levels. I do want it Louder than the stock pioneer system GM put together in the HHR's.

And i'm planning on showing my Panel at a few local shows just for kicks this Summer.

Oh, this years "Village Stickers" for your winshield, are PURPLE! The Motorcycle metal tags are Anodized Purple too! The wife just came home from the village hall this afternoon picking all ours up for this year.

Just an FYI A&P: I have the same HU and speakers (different subs and amps though) and have to sat those speakers are amazing! As a side note you'll need to relocate the tweeters to the doors, they're too big to fit in the A pillar spot. I've pictures in my gallery of the spot I chose for mine if you want a reference.

Thanks for the info.

Good to know they sound good in an HHR.
I thought the Tweeters looked a little larger than the OEM's, can the post be Modified for them to fit up there you think?

Were did you install the cross overs?

Did you add any type of speaker Backing in the doors to keep them dry?

I will look at your pics, thanks again.

You're welcome! The tweeters are physically too large to fit in the OEM location unless you have the posts modified then glassed in possibly. IIRC the Pioneer tweets are 1 1/4"? The OEM's are much smaller. The crossovers are behind the door panels and I have Dynomat in the doors and the rear hatch. IMO the Dynomat alone made a huge difference in the sound quality (I had to wait a week for my installer to get some, so I know how the system sounds with and without Dynomat).

Thanks again, I will most likely just install them in the doors, maybe higher up, IF they fit higher up.

I already have a generic "dynomat" sitting here to install inside, gonna do just about everything but the roof, for now.

Crossovers just Behind the panel, or behind it Inside the doors?

They sell inside the door speaker Covers thats supposed to keep them dry from water running down inside the door. Did you just use the dynomat and create a Pocket for the speakers with it?

I'll start a new stereo thread, once I get all the new stuff here.

Keeping on subject tho, my rear HHR Panel, interior rear door panels arrived today, and the Sub Woofer is on the UPS truck for delivery today.

Eh, what the hell. I just got off the phone with my insurance. It's insured! Once my mom gets out of work she's taking me over to my grandpa's to pick it up!

I can't put the Lumina away because I also have an appt. next week for an alignment on that as well.
