Got a real good road test with the new airbox setup. With much less effort it winds up quicker. On the freeway at about 60, rapped on it and it takes no time to accelerate quickly. I have to assume its the dual 3" tubes. 1 wide open just underneath the core support. The other aimed at the verticle slot opening behind the plastic chingas on the pass side of the radiator that I cut an opening in.(held in place with a zip tie until tested) All I know is it responds alot better- It's getting more air and while not COLD, a lot cooler. I dont have to damn near put my foot to the fan to get it to move. Quite pleased with this mod and it ran about $65. Question - does this underhood duct dissipate heat better than a hard steel tube used in place of said ducting?

More Sound Deadening/Proofing

Continued adding more of the Sound Barrier.

It's like putting together a Very Sticky puzzle, only there is no picture parts to look at on the pieces as you go along, YOU have to make each piece as you go.

Time Consuming teadious work, but the effort Will be worh it.

The rear end section is just about done now, just some fill in pieces to cut and stick here and there.

I will move onto removing the headliner tomorrow and Sticking the sound barrier to the roof, that will be Alot Easier to do compared to this rear end section.

Fingers, Hands, Forearms, Shoulders are Sore. But you MUST Stick it down very well and Not leave anything unstuck, or you won't get the Full effect you are after.

btw... A&P that looks like a ton of work. I'm sure that will be worth it with the system your putting in. Your really building an all around sweet ride

Freek, please post up in your Supercharger thread, and Explain this "MAF Only Tune"

And Thanks. It will be worth the effort, and hopefully my system will kick ass.

And Thanks for the Compliment on my Panel. Much Appreciated.

Labor of Love it is for me, I really am having a blast with this Panel.

Got a few more small items for my Blower Project, that should make my Panel pull the extra weight a little better once installed.

Hey my 1000th Post!

Went to visit it at the jaile... umm dealership. Turns out the lower tmap self destructed, so I didn't fry the ECU (wheeewwww! ). New one's on and I'll pick my baby up tomorrow after I donate a kidney to pay for labor. I'll update you guys once I'm back in it.

I'm glad your getting "The Red Hearse" back. Hey it is like donating a kidney when you go to those Dealerships isn't it? Should be a law against how much they get away with charging us.

Especially when YOU have to go there and show the tech what to do and provide them with copies of the GMTU paperwork to show them what needs to be done in the 1st place. Wouldn't that qualify it as a free teaching lesson and shouldn't they pay ME instead? /rant
