For daily driving, I happen to Like keeping my rear window clean and clear while driving.
Without having to stop, get out and manually wipe it off. Our HHR's get dirty rear ends real fast. Rainy days dirty it up real fast, and when it stops, the dirty road grim mist flying around is magnatised to the rear end. lol

A quick wipe with the wiper as I am driving clears a nice view out the rear window.

Some don't seem to miss having a wiper on the back.

I'm planning to get the satin one and I'm planning to prime and paint the same as I did my front and rear bowties. If you are planning to grab one now is the time to do so. Maggie emailed me back about these and said that they are clearance and she's not going to reorder any more. Once they are gone that's it.

Post some pics when you get it. I went back and forth between the chrome and satin but I think it'll look better painted. I don't want any more chrome on my car...in fact I'm thinking of trying to trade my chrome mirror caps and door handles for a set of painted.

Went ahead and ordered me a stubby from stubbyantenna.com. Went with the 3.5" model instead of the 2.5". I've trimmed my factory antenna but a replacement will look better.

Maggie has already sent me shipping notice, and tracking info.

Full Chrome man myself. Classic Black and Chrome suits me well.

Your car, do as you please with it, you only need to please yourself.

Oh I like the chrome, just trying to "chrome it down" some. Got my shipping notification. I may try to find something at O'Reiley's to hold me over until I get the t-handle

Replaced the airbox grommet that when missing when I did my sparkplugs with a suitable one from the hardware store. It was slightly thicker so I had to wrestle the retaining clip over it.

Replaced Stereo

For the past 3 days, I have been replacing the entire stereo. I replaced the Pioneer/Panasonic head unit with a Kenwood KDC-X994 bluetooth head unit, Stinger RoadKill sound dampening in the doors, replaced the tweeters and front door speakers with a set of Polk DB6501's, replaced the rear speakers with a set of Polk DB651's and replaced the factory 8" with a Pioneer Shallow Mount TS-SW841D. All of this powered by an Alpine MRX-V60 5 channel amplifier. What a pain, but well worth it!
