Just got in from 1500 mile round trip and tour of the Cape Cod/ Boston area, left last Sunday , had awesome time, met lotsa people, who still ask what kind of car that it is and did you customize it yourself, one couple were convinced I had chopped the top 2 to 3 inches, we averaged 35.7 mpg for the week, no issuses just a fun run to the coast.

Put in new headlights. Passenger low beam went 5 days ago, and once I changed it, I noticed the drivers one went today....so I did the drivers side too.
Just went with the cheaper Sylvania Xtravision. They are 30 bucks a pair.
What a chore to change them though....jeez.
Also did the rear window wiper blade....

Put in some new LEDs inside the ****pit...the ones I had previously installed were pretty crappy. My hids came today but it's cool and windy here in Atlanta. I'll tackle them next weekend.

Thumbs up Makes me feel better..

Ordered some chrome marker trim rings and a set of S/S Full Racing Disc HubCaps. Hurricane Sandy has things rather miserable here right now, so today I put on the black billet lower grill to help protect the radiator from road debris.

Few more chrome accents and 'HHRed' will be as dolled up as he's gonna get......then he's gonna get to work for 'Toys for Tots'...

Installed new lower control arm bushings and sway bar bushings. A few hours well spent.

Smoked my side markers today....simple, cheap(free when I had the can leftover from the taillights) and good results.

Srjeeper-

Be careful up there, Sandy is just getting wound up..

PS: lower grille is always a good mod.. Mine is of the "gutter guard" variety.
& has stopped road debris that would have hit the A/C condenser..
