gave my painted rim curb rash today.... not very happy right now

 

Pulled into the garage today after a 6760 mile three week road trip that averaged 33.7 MPG. The HHR did good, but it's very dirty. So next project is to give it a good cleaning and oil & filter change.

 

check tire pressure cleaned the windows and parked it for the weekend, taking the GT for trip to visit friends and give the HHR a rest 18,000 miles put on since Sept .

 

Finally got my Harley back together, cleaned the floor of the shop and put my HHR back in so now she is out of the rain.

 

Watched the Odometer on mine
roll to 60,000.xx over nite !

 

Well after a few shaky stops and a few rattles I decide to investigate further turns out my lower control arm rear bushings are shot , I picked a pair up at my local dealer , I'm in Canada its a work day here, and between 2 and 4:30 pm changed out the bushings, in the driveway no press just a few whacks with my 16 lb persueder and the shake and rattles are gone, best afternoon Ive spent with the HHR . can't wait to drive it next weekend. and now its time for turkey dinner

 

Being as He got out of the shop Weds. I let him rest today .......

 

Went for a cruise to the lake today, figured I'd show off the shaved hatch too
