New from GM Performance division: Mouse Intake

Dealer mechanic called, they found a mouse and nest in the air intake.

Amazing it didn't seem to cause performance problems.

Replaced the front wiper blades (they weren't doing s***) and the engine air filter (OnStar sent me the 50,000 mile "time to change your filter" email). Probably a waste, a ZZP intake is in my future.

if the rain holds off my eibach rear sway bar will go on today. I think i will be taking it to a shop to get the front bar installed due to lack of indoor facilities and multiple jacks to make lowering the subframe easier. And if my UPS man comes through ill also have my new ecu tune to plug in. =)

Someone else had same thing. He added some wire mesh over the opening at the fenderwell...

Why would GM not put them in the doors where they belong anyway? The stock location is a pretty bad idea.

I agree! They did in the SS and the newer 2011 HHR. Just not the older ones.

Ordered a new set of custom rear springs from Canuck motorsports to even out the stance. Went ahead and ordered the front drop springs too so that I would have a full set of drop springs for an SS Cobalt. Worked out great because I've already got them sold to a local cobalt guy!

Now why did you order new springs when your ride is already lowered? I must be missing something...
