What did you trade in for your HHR?
I didn't trade anything either. I put $5000 down to get the payments lower. I kept my '98 Windstar with 99,900 miles on it because it's been such an awesome vehicle. I thought I would do better selling it outright than trading it in. It'd be a great car for a teen to drive to school.
i just hope my HHR performs as well as the Windstar did.

While not actually a trade, we sold this 1994 Infiniti J30 when we bought the HHR. It was very clean, 96K miles, basically a Nissan 300ZX in a sedan body. Great car, it was just time for something new.

No tradein. I knew when the HHR first came out that I wanted it. I was already in the market for a new car and when the HHR came out I knew I wanted it. I have a '93 Geo Prism LSI with every option, had it since Jan of '94. It has been a reliable point a to b car for me, and it's still going strong with 135K miles. I figured it would be worth more to me as a back-up than what I'd get for it, so I put a sizable amount down to lower the payments.
Traded my 2003 Impala with 112000 miles and excellent condition, and also a 99 Ford taurus beater/work car with 144000 miles. The taurus had a broken windshield, dent in the fender, and failing o2 and speed sensors. Didn't do to bad on trade in value.
