The results of an impromptu survey of local law enforcement indicate that red is faster. I went 25 years without a speeding ticket, bought a red car, 6 months later, 42 mph in a 30 zone.

With 3 moving violations in a short time, I agree jx3, safety doesn't seem to be a high priority.

I went Dodge

Well, I was totally hyped on the hhr, but I guess it was not to be

I found a deal too good to pass up on a blue Dodge Caliber. It's a stick shift, so looks like I'll need to practice driving like I'm 16 again

Thank you all for your helpful suggestions. Not only with the car, but with life in general. My partner and I are currently trying to adopt, however it is more difficult than I originally thought (apparently they don't just give anyone a kid, you have to prove you're responsible). When I saw the blue color, I realized it was meant to be. It's time for me to chill a bit, and not worry so much about speed, especially if I'm going to be responsible for another life. My hope is, the agency will see that I'm making a smart choice in vehicle options (family friendly blue), and take that into consideration. Anyway, enough of my ramblings.

^^ lol! But even though the Caliber's not my fav car in the world (except maybe the SRT version), I wish you the best in the adoption process!

believe me, the agency will be more concerned with your tickets then the type and color of car you drive

They are more concerned about character, means of income, home environment, criminal history, psychiatric history etc, than they are about tickets. Children are not adopted like puppy's at the local pound, unless you are in a third world country.
