I intend to use my tax rebate to buy more comfort item. I forgot about the antenna. It really only bothers me when I have to take it off to go through the car wash. I want to get leather seat covers and add some contrasting color to my HHR. New floor mats that give full cover are a must. I'm also going to order some type of cross bars for the roof rack. It's kayaking season and I need an easier way to carry my kayak.

 

The factory door knobs come off by twisting them counterclock-wise.
If you have a strong grip, they may just come off without pliers.
I used pliers with vinyl pads on the jaws so as not to damage the stock knobs, although, I doubt I will ever go back to them.
When installing the smoothie door knobs, you have to cut 1/4" off the rod that the knobs screw onto if you want them flush when locked. I used a dremmel tool to cut mine.
I put a little silicone sealer on the rod before installing the smooth knobs.
