What kind of car did you give up for your HHR?

2007 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT - 5.7 Hemi - 67,000 miles. Great truck until I got T-Boned by a drunk driver. After it was repaired I just didn't feel safe in it, plus it gave me a reason to buy something a little more economical on the gas fillups.

Damage done by the wreck:

I had a beater Harley Davidson Orange custom paint job Volkswagen Golf. It decided to release all of it's fluids simultaneously and die. So I bought my very sexy HHR to replace it, and am not looking back!

I gave up "Christine", my 1989 Acura Integra RS hatchback. The damn car was possessed. Odometer and speedometer didn't work after a transmission swap. Towards the end she was grinding while shifting and over-revving. When I traded her in, and transferred the tags, she wouldn't give the plate up. Car was a *****.

BTW this IS my FIRST post

2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 2WD (rear)...with check engine light code for level3/4 transmission shift problem, left-rear window inoperable, and slow coolant reservoir leak. Bad vehicle in rain and snow as it would slide everywhere...got $3k for it.

got an 09 HHR 2LT (Grey) with 12K miles on it and loving it thus far. Hope reliability factor is the same. My first Chevy!

have no need for my work truck as my new job came with one. So looking for an HHR SS to trade on. Trading a 2006 Ford F250 CrewCab Lariat Diesel, as I just need a vehicle for personal use now and the truck is not being used. Hate to let it go, but with the fun factor of the SS, I am sure I will get over it.
