What kind of people can you expect to meet on this forum

Hey everyone, I wanted to let you know about a guy that I met on this forum...Deerman. He is a normal guy from my hometown (Peoria, Illinois), a nice guy, a good sense of humor, etc. He has great ideas concerning his HHR and our run, clubs, etc, but the most impressive thing...I met this guy and without my asking, he volunteers to help me move into my new house, knowing that this move is coming right in the middle of finalizing everything about the Mid-Central Regional Run...He worked hard on an extremely hot and humid day and never asked for anything in return, just offered his help...a damned good friend if you ask my opinion.
I have met a couple of the guys from my area on the forum so far and will be meeting a lot more on the 12th and I have to tell you, I am very pleased not only with my HHR, but this forum and the people that I have met here...Thank you all...and Thank you Deerman!!!

Bravo scaleguy. The people on this forum are great. I've had the pleasure of meeting several in person (CJ, HaysHotRod & BryceStrong) and they are just super and would do anything to help me if I needed it. And Mike from SoCalHHR's...don't know what I would do without him. He's been so helpful in answering questions over the phone or by PM & email that I have, whether they are related to the HHR or not.

When I have questions, I know I can always come here and find an answer to it whether it's car related or not. You can't say that about many forums on the internet. This group runs like a well oiled machine...but, like others it does get sidetracked from time to time...but that's the nature of the beast.

I look forward to meeting more of the members in person and want everyone to know, if you're going to be in Denver, let me know and I'll do what I can to get together.

Thanks for being such a great place to be a part of.

chevyhhr.net # in my book.

My wife, little Katy and I met our first forum person a few weeks back and it was a fun meeting Easy Ray. We met at an old car show ( of course). We did not get to see his car as the concourse was almost full and Ray parked down the street.
Most folks in these forums are quite nice. I hope to go to a larger HHR meet someday.

Thank you scaleguy that is very nice of you! But wait till you get my bill. Friends DON’T ask for anything in return….other then friendship, good conversation, and a cold drink. You have a GREAT wife and two kids, the best two boy’s I have seen in a long time. They are very well mannered…you should be proud. There are a lot of friendly people on this forum, and like Black Beauty (I think) said “we are all family”. I’m looking forward to the Mid-Central Regional Run on the 12th, and working with you to come up with a plan for next year.
