Harvey's mfg. date is 0705. I'm very happy with him and would buy another.
I'm trying to see if mfg. date has anything to do with quality of workmanship.
See ya down the road

I don't know the month of manufacturing but my HHR is an early VIN (....4004) It was purchased in 09/2005. Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with the quality and reliability. I've had a few sunroof problems and some other minor mechanical problems but for the most part it has been trouble free.

I haven't bothered to look up the manufacture date of the Hispanic Hot Rod, but I purchased in October 2005, and have been quite happy. Minor problems encountered, but they're more wear-and-tear type stuff. Nothing major gone out yet, or had any problems with......

Thumbs up I am very happy!

Not sure when my 2006 was built, but it was brought home December 2005, i loved everything about it, the only reason I sold it was to get my 09 SS.

My 2009 SS was built 6/27/08 and brought home 7/18/08, and I am still loving every minute . And as soon as the "snowy" season is gone it will have some new shoes.

I don't know the manufacture date, don't really care. It's an '06 purchased a the end of last March with 7800 miles on it. Just turned 20k and we are VERY happy with it. Two minor issues, the mirror kept popping out of the driver side visor, and the front rotors were warped. Both fixed under warranty at 10k miles.

NO problems except sunroof bracket breaking 7.08--replaced entire sunroof, free under warranty.

Still change oil 3-4K miles (or at about DIC 40%), tires rotated twice already (every other oil change). Hit 14K this week.

Waxed every other month; detailed every other day with the ToddUMA-method.

Like Bud, would buy another without hesitation.

I <3 my HHR.
