I bought my 09 LS 3 weeks ago for 14,400 OTD. Thats was with the 5 yr/75,000 bumper to bumper + GAP insurance. No cash for clunkers. I traded in a 2002 Hyundai Accent with 125k and a few issues, got $800 for it.

I paid 14.5k plus Uncle Sams portion for a 2008 HHR SS (loaded) with 4600 miles on the clock. I actually I bought the car for my wife and she could not be happier. She is always looking to race someone

She wants me to add the stage 1 upgrade already.

I thought cash for clunkers was only good on new cars? Iam assuming that is what you ment by uncle sams portion?

Haven't bought yet. Been wanting one since they came out.

But finally found a 1 owner '08 Panel LT2 with all the goodies...+ spoiler, roof rails, etc.. Super Clean through-out..

Took a long test drive today, impressed by the 2.4 & auto (especially for just stock).
Summit White w/Ebony (black) interior...

Asking $13,900. w/21,881 miles. KBB lists it for $15,790.

Think I might be able to negotiate a slightly better price ?? Least gonna try..

I took advantage of the cash for clunkers with a 1992 cargo van, after the $4500 off I paid $15,200. Now I'm hoping I'll never regret it.

I bought my hhr ss for 24k from the dealer. It had only 17 miles on it. 24k plus tip ( tax and licence) I might have gotten a better deal on one now, since obongo has dipped his dirty little fingers into everything, but at least I got mine before the General turned into Governmont Motors, but I love my hhr ss. Its Black , and pretty fast . I have a 86 iroc z that is alot faster, and is set up real good. I only drive it on nice days, so my hhr is my daily driver. problem is, I want to fix it up too, it can never be fast enough, or handle goodenough, but I have the "disease" the speed disease. thats what I get from growing up around race cars! its not a bad thing, If i diddnt have any race cars, and hot rods , I would be left with a bunch of money, and a ***** with no direction

Back in March, I picked up my preowned '08 HHR SS (w/Sunroof, LSD, Manual trans, Side Airbags) $16,871 with 6771mi on the odo. I now have 12,980 and have not had a bit of trouble.

Wow...this is an old thread!

I bought mine used in February 2009 for $10,800. (Tax, title, license, I paid out of pocket extra)

Mine is a 2006 1LT that had 33k miles at the time.
